Just had to share...

I was looking on flickr at craft rooms, when I stumbled across this. This room is sooooo saturated in color... it's beautiful! I don't think I've ever seen so many bright colors, and it still all works together. I absolutely love the orange on the walls! :)

I can't seem to get a few of the pictures on here... so I guess you'll have to go look- it's definitely worth it!

Challenge of the week..

...over at BBTB. We had to use the mug cut off of Christmas Cheer. I thought for a long time about how to use this and not make the card look too wintery, then I remembered this quote! I really had a lot of fun with this background... I was looking around on Two Peas the other day when I found this page, and I absolutely LOVED the background, so I had to use the same concept on a card. It was very time-consuming to cut apart, sew, and distress the edges of each little piece of this, but it turned out wonderful! Also, I got to get a few pieces of the beautiful Pink Paislee stuff the other day, and I love it!

Well here it is... I have actually been doing a little bit here and there. I've just been really busy. Still trying to learn everything about using my new camera, so the pictures aren't as good as they could be! These are actually all for Sketch This: Cards!

I've really been bad about keeping this thing updated. I'm going to try to start being more consistent about posting things now, and hopefully I'll have something tomorrow.... :)

some sketch this: cards stuff...

So sorry I haven't posted anything in forever, I've just been so busy.

This first card is something I did a few weeks ago for the Sketch This blog....

I used some of the new Basic Grey and a Hero Arts stamp. (I just love the birds, there are four of them!)

And this one was supposed to be for this week's sketch, but by the time I finished it last night, it was too dark for a picture :( , and Janelle had to post everything this morning. Hopefully, I'll actually get it done a few days in advance next time so I have plenty of time to take the picture. Also, this is Love, Elsie and some more BG. And that little line of text on the left side of the card, it says 'let it snow let it snow let it snow' with little snowflake in between each phrase.

And last, this is an altered soup can I did for Bitten by the Bug. For anyone that doesn't know, BBTB is Regina Easter's blog where she has different challenges each week- all involving the Cricut. This one was done with some more Love, Elsie.

some older stuff...

This isn't anything new, but I thought I'd post a few things from the past month or so.

I won't have anything new for a few weeks, but when I can, I'll be doing some stuff for Sketch This: Cards! I'm so excited to be on the team and can't wait to get started and see what everyone else comes up with. There are so many talented people!!!

Just thought I would post my other two cards that I did for the Sketch This: Cards contest that's been going on the past three weeks! I would've done it sooner, but I hadn't quite figured out the right way to post and stuff. : )
